It's main aim is to raise the awareness, care and support for people who are affected by asthma.
The theme for this year is "Access to anti-inflammatory inhalers for everyone with asthma – still an urgent need."

Midwife- a person, typically a woman who is trained to assist women in childbirth.

Each year, International Confederation of Midwives (ICM) globally recognizes 5th of May as International Midwives' Day to honour the status of midwives and the essential care they provide to mothers and their new borns.
Theme for the year is
"One Million More Midwives."
