There are so many wonderful ways that help kids calm down themselves when upset.
These calming tools allow kids to calm down anywhere, in the car, or even in a crowd.
It is important for these activities and strategies to be practised regularly, not just in times of high anxiety.

Talking to your kid about s*x can be daunting.
The process of talking about s*x to your kids should start before they’re totally verbal which means incorporating the proper names for ge****ls into everyday activities like bath time and explaining that they need these words to communicate health issues or injuries.
Start talking to your kids about when and where it’s appropriate to explore their bodies and how that’s something we do in the privacy of our bedrooms in such a way that your child doesn’t feel like he/she is doing something shameful.
And at a certain age, creating an intuitive understanding of consent is crucial as well to empower them to be able to evaluate risks and make good decisions.
