how to make French Fries Recipe at Home 😍
Ingredients
👉 potatoes - 4 large (Russet potatoes work best)
👉 Cold water
👉 Salt to taste
👉 Oil for frying (vegetable or canola oil)

Instructions
👉 Prepare the Potatoes - Peel the potatoes and cut them into long, even sticks (about 1/4 inch thick) Soak the potato sticks in cold water for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours). This helps remove excess starch and makes the fries crispier.

👉 Drain and Dry - Drain the potatoes and pat them dry with a clean kitchen towel. Ensure they are completely dry to avoid oil splattering during frying.

👉 First Fry - Heat oil in a deep frying pan or fryer to around 300°F (150°C).
Fry the potato sticks in batches for 3–4 minutes, or until they are soft but not browned. Remove and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.

👉 Second Fry - Increase the oil temperature to 375°F (190°C) Fry the pre-cooked potatoes again in batches for 2–3 minutes, or until they turn golden brown and crispy.
Remove and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.

👉 Season - Sprinkle salt evenly over the fries while they are still hot.

👉 Serve - Serve immediately with ketchup, mayonnaise, or any dip of your choice Enjoy your crispy and delicious French fries!

Recipe for making French Fries 🍟 at home 👇

Ingredients 👐
4 large russet potatoes
Vegetable oil (for frying)
Salt (to taste)

Equipment
👉 Large bowl
👉 Knife
👉 Cutting board
👉 Frying thermometer
👉 Heavy pot or deep fryer
👉 Paper towels
👉 Baking sheet

Method of Preparation 👐

1.Prepare the Potatoes
👉 Wash and Peel - Wash the potatoes thoroughly. Peel them if you prefer skinless fries, or leave the skin on for a rustic look.
👉 Cut the Potatoes - Cut the potatoes into even strips. Aim for about 1/4 inch thick for classic French fries.

2 . Soak the Potatoes - Place the cut potatoes in a large bowl of cold water. Let them soak for at least 30 minutes. This helps remove excess starch and makes the fries crispier.

3. Dry the Potatoes - Drain the potatoes and pat them dry with paper towels. Make sure they are completely dry before frying to prevent oil splatters.

4 Heat the Oil - Pour vegetable oil into a heavy pot or deep fryer to a depth of about 3 inches. Heat the oil to 325°F (165°C). Use a frying thermometer to check the temperature.

5. First Fry (Blanching) - Fry the potatoes in small batches for 3-4 minutes. They should be softened but not browned. Remove them with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Let them cool for at least 15 minutes.

6. Second Fry - Increase the oil temperature to 375°F (190°C) Fry the blanched potatoes again in small batches until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes. Remove them with a slotted spoon and drain on fresh paper towels.

7. Season and Serve - Immediately sprinkle the hot fries with salt. Toss them gently to ensure even seasoning Serve the fries hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
