Exclusion of children from school education of poor family due to engage in household works and migration is common feature of Seondha. Pani puri is very famous business and majority of family migrated across the India in this business. Children between age 13-18 are also engage in this business

Final draft of Base line study of Seondha block of Datia district submitted in last week. Catalyst has carried out many studies but experience of Datia was totally different. Seondha of Datia is regarded as most backward and at bottom position on performance of most of development indicators.
The poor and disadvantaged community of project area are excluded in a variety of ways which in turn keep them trapped in poverty and women face double exclusion- first due to gender biased norms and barriers and second due to caste/class.
Huge scope to work for with women and disadvantaged community .

Sharing few glimpses of base line survey . This is carrying out by Catalyst in Datia district.
FGD organised with separate children groups boys and girls , primary and secondary children. This was eye opener for our team.
Children shared valuable feedbacks on their life cycle , infrastructure facility available at school, food consumption, any discrimination with girls children etc.

Today , meeting held with collector and CEO tikamgath along with manjari foundation team on state flagship sheme . MP govt had decided to rejuvenate 40 rivers in 32 districts. We shared our experience on river rejuvenation with both young and dynamic experience. They invited us to associate with them for good cause for betterment of community.
