VPS होस्टिंग : VPS होस्टिंग में भी server एक ही होता है लेकिन virtualization टेक्नोलॉजी के अनुसार हम एक ही server को कुछ भाग में बाट देते है जिससे एक ही server बहुत से server के तरह काम करने लगता है और server के कुछ भाग shared की तरह इस्तेमाल किया जाता है और कुछ भाग private की तरह इस प्रकार हम एक physical server को कई virtual server में बाट के इस्तेमाल कर लेते है | ये होस्टिंग shared से महंगा और dedicated से सस्ता होता है |

Dedicated होस्टिंग : Dedicated होस्टिंग ऐसा होस्टिंग होता है जिसमे एक server सिर्फ एक वेबसाइट के लिए dedicated होता है, इसमें server के किसी भी services या features को दुसरा कोई भी वेबसाइट नहीं इस्तेमाल कर सकता है | इस प्रकार के होस्टिंग बाहुत ही secure और fast होता है और महंगा भी होता है |
