It is our proud privilege to bring to your notice that second “All India Media Educators Conference- 2016” is a collaboratively designed event is being hosted by a unique combination among leading Universities and NGOs from Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh in Jaipur from April 22-24, 2016.These are the centre for Mass Communication-University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, Amity University-Jaipur, Society of Media Initiative for Values, Indore and Jaipur base media advocacy NGO-Lok Samvad Sansthan.
Encouraged by resounding success of first conference, we decided to organize second conference on an even larger scale. During this mega event, from all over India, 250 delegates including media educators, corporate communicators, Researchers’, Students from Mass Communication schools, Public relations professionals / practioners and distinguished VIPs will participate. Highlights of first conference are enclosed for your perusal.
The broad theme of the Conference is- All India Conference on “Media Ethics and Responsibility: Need for Introspection”.””The featured topics also included Media’s commitment towards advocacy and sensitizing the industry and Civil Society Organizations about Corporate Social Responsibility. -CSR Reporting / Sustainability. During the conference one of the session -specially dedicated to CSR/ Banking/Financial literacy. Other important sessions would be Use of ICT (Information, communication and Technology) for developing Media Education, The impact of Social media on children, adocelent and families, Role of media in Disaster Management, The power of Digital media for growing social concern, (the role of media industry in advancing Digital and Media literacy), Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, role of media towards Gender equality and awareness, Traditional Media vs. Digital media Development Journalism etc.
