NSS SPECIAL CAMP 2026 — DAY 3
🎨 Colours of Creativity: Drawing Competition

📅 Date: 7th March 2026
📍 Venue: Charbirpara Bancharam Primary School, Charbirpara, West Bengal

On the third day of the NSS Special Camp, volunteers organized a vibrant drawing competition at Charbirpara Bancharam Primary School as part of the Village Survey outreach programme. The event brought together young students in two groups:

🖍️ Group 1 — Nursery to Class 2
Younger students were guided step-by-step with simple drawings demonstrated on the blackboard. They joyfully copied the shapes onto their sheets, learning the basics of drawing in a fun and encouraging environment.

🎨 Group 2 — Class 3 to Class 5
Older students showcased remarkable talent, freely expressing themselves using pencils and vibrant oil-based colours to create intricate and imaginative artworks.

🤝 NSS volunteers actively engaged with the children throughout the day — guiding, encouraging, and ensuring every participant had a positive experience. After the competition, the top three winners from each group were felicitated with prizes in a small ceremony 🏆. The day was filled with learning, creativity, and joy. 🌟

🌍🍃🎤 SPEECH COMPETITION 🎤🍃🌍
NSS Unit-KGEC in collaboration with Pashchim Banga Vigyan Mancha & Kalyani Vigyan Kendra is going to organise a speech competition on *World Environment Day (5th June)

"Topic :- Saving Nature Before It's Too Late: Environmental Imbalance"

Chief Guest :- Prof.(Dr.) Jayanta Kumar Biswas, Kalyani University.

📅 Date: 6th March 2026
📍 Location: Charbirpara Village, Charbirpara Bancharam Primary School

🎙️ Day 2 of our Special Camp 2026 was dedicated to community outreach, as our volunteers engaged with students from Nursery to Class V through interactive games, storytelling, and guided conversations.

💬🌟 The children's enthusiasm and heartfelt aspirations reinforced the importance of grassroots engagement in building a more inclusive and connected society.

🤝💚 The NSS Unit, KGEC remains steadfast in its commitment to social responsibility and looks forward to continued engagement through the camp.

🌾 NSS Special Camp 2026 (Day 1)

📅 Date – 5th March 2026
📍 Place – Charbirpara Village

The NSS Unit of Kalyani Government Engineering College officially commenced its week-long NSS Special Camp 2026 with the participation of more than 25 active volunteers under the guidance of our Programme Officers.

On Day 1, a village survey was conducted across Charbirpara Village to understand the local environment and prepare for the upcoming camp activities. Volunteers interacted with residents and visited more than 20 households to gather information regarding education, livelihoods, and daily living conditions.

The survey provided valuable insights into the village community and helped us plan the upcoming activities of the special camp in a more organized and meaningful way.
