2/04/2026, Jammu: Hon’ble MLA Inderwal raised several important public issues concerning the remote areas of his constituency. He highlighted the hardships faced by MGNREGA workers in Mughalmaidan and Chatroo blocks during periods of network shutdowns, emphasizing the need for clear directions to ensure that workers receive wages for the actual number of days worked during such periods.
He further urged the authorities to expedite forest clearance for ongoing and proposed development works, and to ensure the timely disbursement of compensation for roads sanctioned under the PMGSY scheme. He noted that delays in these processes are adversely affecting infrastructure development as well as the livelihoods of local residents.

Hon’ble MLA Inderwal, Sh. Pyare Lal Sharma, visited Government High School Inderwal. During his visit, he interacted with the school administration and discussed the need for additional infrastructure. He patiently listened to the concerns and requirements of the institution. He also inspected the quality of desks and other items provided under the CDF, emphasizing the importance of maintaining proper standards for the benefit of students.
He further assured that similar facilities and improvements will be extended to other schools in the constituency to ensure better educational infrastructure for all students.

Today I had an engaging interaction with media representatives, where I shared the progress of the ongoing development works in Inderwal constituency. I also highlighted certain gaps that still require focused attention.

I assured everyone that collective and coordinated efforts are being made to address these challenges and to ensure better outcomes for the people of Inderwal.
