IELTS Evening Classes

The International English Language Testing System [IELTS] :
Listening : - Approximately 30 minutes
There are four separate sections, which candidates hear only once.
There are 40 questions. There is a short time 30 - 40 seconds to read the questions before the recording is played and a brief time at the end of each section to check the answers. At the end, there are ten minutes to transfer the answers to the answer sheet.

Sections 1 and 2 are usually a general, social nature.
In section 1, there is a conversation between two people and in Section 2 there is usually a monologue, or an interview where one person does most of the speaking.

In section 3 and 4, the contests are of an educational or training nature. In section 3, there is usually a conversation of up to four speakers and Section 4 usually contains a talk or a lecture of general academic interest.

The question types may include:

Multiple choice questions
Sentence completion
Short answer questions
Completion of charts / forms / notes / tables / summaries
Flow chart completion
Labeling a diagram / map / plan
Matching
Selection from a list
