Today we introduced SmartView 4K G3, the world’s first rack mount monitor to feature built in optical and copper SMPTE-2110 IP video connections so you can connect directly to IP based broadcast systems. You also get two 12G-SDI inputs for connecting to a wide range of professional video equipment. Plus both the 12G-SDI and 2110 video inputs can output to a 12G-SDI loop output connection. The design features a lightweight machined aluminum chassis and a full resolution Ultra HD LCD. The on screen overlays include focus peaking, framing guides, safe area and more. You also get built in 3D LUTs for adding creative looks, converting log film gamma or handling custom HDR profiles.

Blackmagic Design today introduced a new range of Blackmagic 2110 IP Converters that have been designed to integrate SDI equipment into 2110 IP broadcast systems and support Ultra HD using low cost 10G Ethernet! Most converter models are bidirectional, so they're fantastic to use on cameras when you need an extra program return! The rack mount models have an elegant design with a color LCD for monitoring, menus and diagnostics. All models conform to the SMPTE ST-2110 standard for IP video, including PTP clocks and even NMOS support so you can make connections using a video router panel. Today we announced Blackmagic Replay, a new way of creating live action replays for broadcasters. Blackmagic Replay is totally unique because it uses multiple HyperDecks to record into shared storage, while DaVinci Resolve is connected to the same shared storage as a powerful playback engine. However, the true power comes from having DaVinci Resolve handle the playback. That’s because it’s not just replay, but an extremely powerful editor with multi user collaboration features. Plus color correction, visual effects and audio post production. Now replays can be converted into promos, title sequences and instant social media updates.
