കൊച്ചി : മാജിക്‌ ബ്രിക്‌സ് എന്ന റെന്റൽ ആപ്ലിക്കേഷനിൽ വീട് വാടകക്ക് നൽകാൻ പരസ്യം നൽകിയിരുന്ന കൊച്ചി സ്വദേശികളായ ദമ്പതികളിൽ നിന്നും പണം തട്ടിയ കേസിലെ പ്രതി വിക്രം സർധന (29 ) യെ രാജസ്ഥാനിലെ മനോഹർപൂരിൽ നിന്നും പിടികൂടി കൊച്ചി സിറ്റി സൈബർ ക്രൈം പോലീസ്. ആയുധ കടത്തു ഉൾപ്പെടെ ആറോളം കേസിലെ പ്രതിയാണ് വിക്രം സർധന. പ്രതിയുടെ ക്രിമിനൽ സ്വഭാവം മനസ്സിലാക്കിയത് കൊണ്ട് മഹർപ്പൂർ പോലീസ് സ്റ്റേഷനിലെയും, രാജസ്ഥാനിലെ സ്പെഷ്യൽ ഓപ്പറേഷൻ ടീമും കൂടി സഹകരിച്ചാണ് അർദ്ധ രാത്രിയോട് അടുത്ത സമയം പ്രതി താമസിച്ച രാജ്സ്ഥാനിലെ മനോഹർപൂർ എന്ന ഗ്രാമത്തിലെ വീട് വളഞ്ഞു അതിസാഹസികമായാണ് പ്രതിയെ പിടികൂടിയത്. തുടർന്ന് ജയ്പൂർ കോടതിയിൽ ഹാജരാക്കിയ പ്രതിക്ക് കോടതി ട്രാൻസിറ്റ് വാറൻറ് അനുവദിക്കുകയും, കേരള പോലീസിന്റെ കഠിന പ്രയത്നത്തെ അഭിനന്ദിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. കേരളത്തിൽ എത്തിച്ച പ്രതിയെ പിന്നീട് എറണാകുളം ചീഫ് ജുഡീഷ്യൽ മജിസ്‌ട്രേറ്റ് കോടതി പതിനാലു ദിവസത്തേക്ക് റിമാന്റു ചെയ്തു. കൊച്ചി സിറ്റി പോലീസ് കമ്മീഷണർ ശ്രീ പുട്ട വിമലാദിത്യ ഐ പി എസ്സിന്റെ നിർദ്ദേശ പ്രകാരം ഡി സി പി ശ്രീ ജുവാനപ്പടി മഹേഷ്‌ ഐ പി എസ്സിന്റെ നേത്രത്തിൽ സൈബർ ക്രൈം പോലീസ് സ്റ്റേഷൻ അസിസ്റ്റന്റ് കമ്മിഷണർ ശ്രീ സുൽഫിക്കാർ ന്റെ മേൽനോട്ടത്തിൽ ഇൻസ്‌പെക്ടർ ശ്രീ ഷമീർ ഖാൻ, ASI ശ്യാം, SCPO മാരായ അരുൺ R, നിഖിൽ ജോർജ്, അജിത് രാജ്, CPO മാരായ ആൽഫിറ്റ് ആൻഡ്രൂസ്, ശറഫുദ്ധീൻ പി എസ് എന്നിവർ അടങ്ങുന്ന സംഘമാണ് പതിനൊന്നു ദിവസം നീണ്ടു നിന്ന ഓപ്പറേഷനിലൂടെ പ്രതിയെ പിടികൂടിയത്.
