Woman’s Day is not just a day of celebration . Womanhood is a feeling that we need to celebrate everyday. A woman has the power to create,nurture and transform and this is not a day’s task. It is a day where we celebrate innumerable women achievers and many unsung women heroes with their enormous contribution towards the society. The future seems very promising with the growth of women all around.

Therefore this Women’s Day we are going to do something different. We are coming up with an exclusive dedicated title for women under the triathlete category “Bergwoman”. Indian sports have observed a massive rise in the number of women athletes. It is strange that after backbreaking hard work in the Triathlons the lady winner is also presented with the title of Bergman. Not anymore as this time it will be a Bergwoman celebrating her victory of sweat and grit. Yes she deserves that , she is entitled to it, she has worked for it. She stands bold and strong fulfilling all her duties at home front, professional life and in multiple facets of her life. But , As an athlete she created her mark , she etches her performance and matches her male counterparts with a sporty attitude. “ Rome was not built in a day” so does the upliftment of women in our country.
Women have proved their worth time and again and yet this is another feather in their cap . On the eve of International Women’s Day, we will all get introduced to “Bergwoman”. Beauty and Brawn needs to be celebrated and yes this is one big leap in the Triathlete Zone which commences today.
