Cognitive Productions (CgP) ~ The Name says it all...!!!
After its foundation in the year 2015, CgP has always aimed at one thing- "Entertaining its beloved Audience"
Our sole ambition has always been to provide our viewers with a spectrum of Short Films that will entertain our audience and also make them "scratch their heads".
The success of an artwork is completely dependent on its viewers and we can proudly announce that our viewership has increased day by day and is still growing exponentially...
The Red-letter Day was Christmas of 2016, when Suprojit Dey, our In-House Editor and one of the Founding members bagged the "Best Editor" award for "Interference”. And Mainak Chanda, one of our actors, received the "Best Actor" award for "Dyoito"
Such awards in our Budding stage act like a strong catalyst and make us more enthusiastic and determined to improve our works, by minimizing the errors and thereby, creating masterpieces to keep all our audiences entertained...!
CgP is hence grateful to all its members for their constant support and dedication which they have shown over the past 2 years, which has finally been fruitful and the works of CgP have received acclamation from judges too...

We are proud to announce that both Interference and Dyoito were successfully screened in the Model N Movie International Film Festival on the 25th of December, and received stupendous reception and acclaim from the audience and the judges present! Moreover, Suprojit Dey, our in house editor and founding member of Cognitive Productions got the Best Editor award for his work in Interference, and Mainak Chanda got the Best Actor award for his work in Dyoito! Also, both of these films came into special praise from the judges!
Cognitive is still in a nascent stage, and yet these accolades make us more determined to strive and work hard to bring and do quality work to our audiences and well wishers! Both these awards are an acknowledgement of the work that our members put in so that the end product is of superlative quality! This really was a Christmas gift for both of them!

Okay people a very big announcement to make! We had entered Dyoito as a contestant in Kolkata Short Film Festival Chitrabani, which is currently being held at Nandan 2 and Nandan 3. Well, we are happy to announce that Dyoito HAS BEEN SELECTED to be screened at this film festival! The date is Saturday, December 17, from 3pm. Be there in full force to watch Cognitive Productions latest venture on the big screen in Kolkata's biggest and most famous film theatre!

Interference, CgP’s first venture, has been SELECTED for the movie festival titled ‘Triagon’, brought to you by Adieu Cinema. Out of submissions all over West Bengal, Interference has managed to be among the top 3! The date and place of the screening shall be announced soon!

Another festival where both Dyoito and Interference, have been SELECTED to be screened is ‘Model N Movie’, one of Howrah's premier short film festivals. The dates are tentatively 24-25 December, and both will be shown in Mandirtala, Howrah.

These achievements have reiterated our belief that we are on the right track. We do hope to make more films that are both critical successes, and enjoyed by the audience! Thank you for being with us, we guarantee you we won't disappoint!
