What is with Jammuโs sudden, massive obsession with street coconut water over the past 3 to 4 years?! ๐ฅฅ๐ฒ
Living in Kolkata, I am surrounded by fresh, green coastal Daab. But over the last few years, whenever I look at what's trending back home in Jammu, I notice this explosive craze.
Coconut vendors have taken over almost every corner! Everyone seems to be chugging it for "health and hydration." But as a dietitian, I can see a major problem that most people are missing: Jammu is obsessed with the wrong coconut.
Growing up here, we never drank coconut water. Coconuts were strictly reserved as dry giri for religious rituals.
