Kolkata Climate Fest 2026, organised by Climate24 in collaboration with IISWBM, brought together academia, industry, policymakers, media, and students to deliberate on climate change, public health, sustainability, and resilience.
Students from JIS University actively participated in Green Innovation IDEA presentations, and Prof. Dr. Dipankar Misra was felicitated as Guest of Honour.
The Fest served as a powerful platform for climate dialogue, student engagement, and collaborative action toward a sustainable future. 🌍✨

Celebrating Academic Excellence in Innovation
The CSE Department at JIS University proudly congratulates Dr. Abhrendu Bhattacharya, Dr. Paramita Sarkar, Mr. Achyut Mitra, Prof. Rajesh Bose and Prof. Sandip Roy on their latest publication in Scientific Reports.
Their research, titled "Adaptive bit placement for dual biometric using signature and finger print for DWT-DCT picture steganography," marks a significant contribution to the field of cybersecurity and data hiding. With a journal impact factor of 3.9, this achievement brings Prof. Sandip Roy and Prof. Rajesh Bose to a remarkable Total Impact Factor of 15.1 for the 2025-26 cycle.
