Modi in US was a big win for INDIA and Tesla finally set up new manufacturing plant coming to INDIA


American electric car maker Tesla may soon set up a manufacturing base in India, CEO Elon Musk said after meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New York.
Musk said Tesla would be in India "as soon as possible", reversing a stance from nearly a year ago when the carmaker said India's tariffs on automobiles were the highest among major countries and it could only consider setting up one. Factory locally if it succeeds with imported models.
