But after displaying our fabric sculpture in Academy of Fine Arts in 1991 we elevated the concept of marriage tattwa decoration to a new dimension of art. Print media, electronics media, artist community and people of west Bengal showered us with praise and as a pioneer we surged ahead. But Gift decoration was not so popular during that era. With time when Indian culture started adopting different global celebratory occasions, along with the growing intervention of the corporate sector, this concept spread its wings like the Himalayan golden eagle.
Every celebration carries different emotion and values. To honor that we always research and develop the art to that extent where the receiver and giver feel immense satisfaction irrespective of the material value of the gift.
Our fabric sculpture is an exceptional and unique form of art across the globe. A 5 mt. saree transforms into different figures without cutting, stitching or stuffing. Only clever folds and imported cello tape (because it doesn’t leave any impression of adhesive) we make these figures. Obviously for marriage tattwa decoration few decorative frills are used, otherwise it is pure art and skill developed over the decades in its purest form. Just remove those tapes and you will receive the saree in its original form. If you want to preserve any sculpture, we will process the sculpture so that it holds form for a long time.
