On 15th March 2026, the Sabar children of Purulia enjoyed a special chicken lunch organized by Change Initiatives. Heartfelt thanks to Mrs. Ratna Bhattacharyya and Mr. Kanti Chandra Bhattacharyya for celebrating the joy of their 50th wedding anniversary by sharing this special moment with the Sabar children of Purulia.

On 9th February 2026, the students of Garia Harimati Devi Uchcha Balika Vidyalaya enjoyed an exposure visit to Birla Industrial and Training Museum where the students participated in Fun Science workshops.

On 2nd February 2026, ten students from Balia Nafar Chandra Balika Vidyalaya performed at the Child Friendly Corner of the West Bengal Commission for Protection of Child Rights (WBCPCR) on behalf of Change Initiatives at the Kolkata International Book Fair. The students also participated in a storytelling session. It was a memorable and enriching experience for them at the Kolkata International Book Fair.
