Haunted Destinations....

SITE: Glenn Tavern Inn “Where the Past Comes to Life.”

LOCATION: Santa Paula, California.

HISTORY: Built in 1911, this place once served as headquarters to Union Oil.
During prohibition in the US, it turned into a brothel, speakeasy and gambling house. Many legends are rooted to this era when several murders of prostitutes and shootouts took place.

GHOST STORIES: Calvin, a famous ghost here is described as having long hair, a goatee, and western style clothing. It seems he is quite the lady's man and is known to wander into the women's bathroom on the first floor. Sometimes he manifest as the smell of an expensive cigar. People there have detected this odor in the stairway on several occasions. Perhaps it's just Calvin wandering the place.
Room # 307. Another hot spot where the paranormal activities are always at peak.

AT PRESENT: A renovated full service hotel, restaurant and lounge.
The location preserved the historical signatures alongside the modern amenities. Often visited by paranormal enthusiasts who get an opportunity to relive the glided days at a place where spirited revelers and restless spirits seem to commingle quite amicably.

This place also serves as the headquarters for The American Paranormal Research Association (A.P.R.A).
