UKADO® LQ
A natural biodegradable ammonia binder

UKADO® LQ is the Yucca extract from Mexican desert from the plant Yucca schidigera. Yucca sarsaponin or its fractions of derivatives were determined to be effective in reducing the production of ammonia. A mode of action of UKADO® LQ that alters the utilization rate of total ammonia nitrogen, rather than its release, is consistent with all of the research data generated as of today. UKADO® LQ reduces ammonia and H2S gas levels in "aquaculture ponds". Solids in slurry are broken down more quickly because the sarsaponin in UKADO® LQ increases bacteria.
