Wishing you all a very happy Chhath Puja!

Chhath Puja is a four-day Hindu festival celebrated in India and Nepal in honour of the Sun God, Surya. The festival is characterized by fasting, offering prayers to the rising and setting sun, and taking holy dips in a river or pond.

The first day of the festival is called Nahay-Khai, which involves cleaning the house and taking a ritual bath. The second day is Kharna, when devotees observe a strict fast and eat only one meal of rice and dal. The third day is Chhath, which is the main day of the festival. Devotees offer prayers to the rising sun and take a holy dip in a river or pond. The fourth day is Parvaya, when devotees offer prayers to the setting sun and break their fast.

Chhath Puja is a time for families and friends to come together and celebrate. It is a time to give thanks to Surya for the blessings of life.
