At Legacy in Design: Conversations Between Generations by IIID India LRC, we had the opportunity to hear from architects across generations as they reflected on the practices, values, and experiences that have shaped their journeys.
Ar. Shipra Singh Shipra Singh and Prof. Jagbir Singh Jagbir Singh reflected on a journey that spans generations, one rooted in a common love for architecture, yet shaped by distinct experiences and perspectives.
As founder and mentor, daughter and father, their conversation explored how values are inherited, challenged, and reimagined over time.

Anchored in a deliberate shift from the rigidity of the plot, the massing of the Oblique Residence is carefully angled to shape a series of open and semi-open spaces that feel both dynamic and intimate.
These oblique moves create pockets of light and ventilation while subtly redirecting views away from the road, allowing the home to turn inward without losing its connection to the surroundings.
