CARDIOLOGY/CARDIOVASCULAR SURGERY:

The Cardiology Department equipped with state-of-the-art equipments like echocardiography, electrocariogragpy,laboratory shall enable prompt and accurate diagnosis for any disease or disorder related with the heart., pacemaker implantation, and balloon dilatation of heart valves, device closure for holes in the heart, vascular stenting, and diagnostic catherisation for babies born with poorly developed heart is available. Transradial catheterisations done by highly skilled professionals shall do away with the need of overnight limb immobilisation.

The department shall be complimented by an advanced cardiovascular and thoracic surgery department. Facilities for cardiac bypass surgery, , valve replacement, correction of birth defects, vascular surgery, etc. would be available. A dedicated Trauma Centre with networking of satellite connected hi- tech ambulances are being established with the motto “24 hours – No matter what”. This shall ensure availability of best medical care in no time to the victims of Poly Trauma, Stroke, Cardiac and other such alarming emergencies. The medical team in the critical care ambulance (mobile ICU) would initiate the resuscitative measures on the way to the hospital; online data transfer to the central unit shall enable the hospital team to be prepared even before the patient is received and also guide the treatment while patient is on the way to the hospital.
The event-intervention time would be minimized by the mobile ICU taking the patient right through to the resuscitation area with on-site availability of team of highly trained specialists, adjacently located round the clock available diagnostic facilities and a dedicated operation theatre.
