TO MAKE USER ACCOUNT USING “CMD”

ON WINDOWS VISTA or WINDOWS 7, 8, AND 10
Click START, search for "CMD" and press ENTER.
Now, in the command prompt window, type NET USER /ADD [USERNAME] [PASSWORD] then press enter.
EXAMPLE IN: - NET USER /ADD [TECHNO-BYTE] [PASSWORD] (ALL WILL BE IN LOWER CASE

ADD USER as ADMINISTRATOR

Click START, search for "CMD" and press ENTER.
Now in command prompt window, type NEW LOCALGROUP ADMINISTRATORS [USERNAME] /ADD Then press enter.
EXAMPLE IN: - NEW LOCALGROUP ADMINISTRATORS [TECHNO-BYTE] /ADD (ALL WILL BE IN LOWER CASE)

ENABLE or DISABLE LOCAL USER ACCOUNT

Click on START MENU then choose “RUN”.
Type “CMD” and press Enter to run command prompt.
Right Click on command prompt Icon in the Taskbar, and then choose “RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR”.
Now in command prompt window, type “NET USER USERNAME /ACTIVE: NO”.

Example: - NET USER ANKIT /ACTIVE: NO (ALL WILL BE IN LOWER CASE)

To enable the account again, run the following:

NET USER USERNAME /ACTIVE: YES

HOW TO FIX DNS SERVER ERROR WHILE GOING ON INTERNET

SYMPTOMS:-
On a computer that is running Windows 7, you receive the following error message “YOUR COMPUTER APPEARS TO BE CORRECTLY CONFIGURED BUT THE DEVICE OR DNS SERVER IS NOT RESPONDING “When this issue occurs, you cannot connect to Internet.

RESOLUTION
To troubleshoot this problem, try one or more of the following methods.

METHOD 1: RESTART THE ROUTER

• Remove the power cord from the router.
• Wait at least 10 seconds after all lights on the router have gone out.
• Reconnect the power cord to the router.

METHOD 2: CONFIGURE THE TCP/IP SETTINGS

Configure the TCP/IP settings. To do this, follow these steps:
1. Select START > CONTROL PANNEL
2. Select VIEW NETWORK STATUS AND under NETWORKING AND INTERNET.
3. Select CHANGE ADAPTER SETTINGS.
4. Press and hold (or right-click) LOCAL AREA CONNECTION, and then select PROPERTIES.
5. Select INTERNET PROTOCOL VERSION 4(TCP/IPv4) > PROPERTIES.
6. Select OBTAIN AN IP ADDRESS AUTOMATICALLY > OBTAIN DNS SERVER ADDRESS AUTOMATICALLY> OK.

METHOD3: USE THE IPCONFIG COMMAND

Use the Ipconfig command-line tool. To do this, follow these steps:
1. Select START, type commands prompt in the SEARCH PROGRAMS AND FILES box, press and hold (or right-click) COMMAND PROMPT, and then select RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR.
2. At the command prompt, type the following commands. Press Enter after each command.

ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew

After typing these commands you will get a positive message then restart the computer and DNS SERVER ERROR problem will be resolved
