In 2022, I had the privilege of visiting the peaceful valley of Pahalgam, Kashmir—known as Mini Switzerland. I still remember the exact spot where I sat to paint this watercolor, soaking in the beauty and silence of the place. I later gifted the painting to my guest house owner as a token of gratitude. Today, hearing about the tragic terrorist attack that took place in the very same area breaks my heart. A place that once inspired peace is now marked with pain. Praying deeply for the victims, their families, and all those affected. May Kashmir heal, may peace return.
