Day 5 highlighted the importance of ethical AI practices and software integration in drone systems.

Session 9 was conducted by Dr. Devang Pandya, Associate Professor, Ganpat University, on “Ethics and Values for Sustainable Education.” The session emphasized ethical responsibility, academic integrity, and sustainability in AI-driven education and research.

Session 10 was delivered by Mr. Nikhil Baravkar, Senior Executive – Training & Certifications, Passenger Drone Research Pvt. Ltd., on “Software Development and Integration with Drones.” The session covered system integration, middleware, flight software, and certification aspects.

📘 Foundations of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning & Data Analytics

Ganpat University, Mehsana successfully inaugurated the AICTE–ATAL Sponsored Six-Day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Harnessing AI and ML: The Future of Smart Drones” with an academically enriching Day 1 focused on building strong foundations in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Data Analytics.

The day commenced with Session 1 by Dr. Priyank Thakkar, Associate Professor, Nirma University, who delivered an insightful lecture on “Introduction to AI & ML, Applications, and Deployment of ML Models for Production.” The session provided participants with a comprehensive understanding of real-world ML pipelines, model deployment strategies, and industry best practices for production-level AI systems.

This was followed by Session 2 conducted by Dr. Hitesh Chhinkaniwala, Associate Professor, Adani University, on “Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) Techniques for Exploring, Visualizing, and Interpreting Complex Datasets.” The session emphasized the critical role of data understanding in AI projects and introduced practical visualization techniques to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets.
