Delighted to have Amita Malkani, Administrator at the Inlaks Shivdasani Foundation, and Jagdish Malkani, catch the Zakkir Hussain solo exhibition 'Traces of Light Amongst Ruins' just before it was no longer on view. Amita and Jagdish are long time supporters and visit all our shows... so wonderful to have you back!

The exhibition closed over the weekend - but watch this space for information on our upcoming shows!

‘The first significant and fruitful convergence of my intellectual and pictorial preoccupations occurred in 1975. I had been working with a kind of autobiographical and expressionist drawing when I became preoccupied with an image of the sitting man – the worker – encountered daily in the suburban train.’ - Sudhir Patwardhan

Really fantastic to see 'of worlds within worlds' at the Lalithakala Akademi's Durbar Hall last week.

Roobina Karode's curation of Gulammohammed Sheikh's vast practice here is a pleasure to see, really bringing these aspects of engagement with memory, history, art together. Works from across decades! Also great to see his poetry brought together with his art.

The show is open till 31 March. All in Kochi, really must check it out.
