This year, Palakkad Kitchen brings to you a variety of Palagaram freshly made at our home kitchen for the auspicious occasion of Gokulashtami.

Gokulashtami (Krishna Jayanthi) falls on the 8th day after Avani Avittam function. Normally on this auspicious occassion people fast from the morning and during sunset, they do pooja for Lord Krishna by offering lots of sweets & neivedhyams.

In the evening during sunset, a variety of sweets & salted snacks are offered to the Lord such as butter, fruits, vella cheedai, Uppu Cheedai, Thenkuzhal, Murukku and some more delicious snacks and sweets.
