There was a time when Ganesh thought he might have to give up on his education.
Coming from Nalgonda, Telangana, Choppari Ganesh was struggling to manage his college and hostel fees while pursuing higher education. The financial stress became so overwhelming that he was even denied permission to appear for his internal exams.
Along with these challenges, Ganesh was also quietly dealing with anxiety, worrying about his studies, his future and the pressure on his family.
That’s when scholarship support came as a turning point in his life.
The scholarship helped cover his college and hostel expenses, easing the financial burden on his family and giving Ganesh the chance to continue studying without constant stress.
Slowly, things began to change.
Instead of worrying about how to pay his fees, Ganesh could focus on his academics and work towards his goals with confidence and hope.
Despite everything he faced, he continued to work hard and graduated with an impressive 8.5 CGPA.
“This support from Concern India Foundation meant everything to me. It reduced my financial burden and allowed me to continue my education without stress. It gave me confidence, hope and a chance to focus on my goals. Because of this support, I am able to work towards a better future for myself and my family.”
Ganesh’s story reminds us that sometimes, a little support at the right time can help someone keep their dreams alive.

Earth Day is a reminder of responsibility.
A time to reflect on the impact we have had, and the action we continue to take to restore what’s been lost.
From healing ecosystems to supporting communities most affected, every step forward matters.
Because restoring the Earth is not only about the planet, it is about people, livelihoods and our shared future.

This World Health Day, let’s revisit what sustains us all.
A nation’s progress is deeply tied to the strength of its healthcare system. In India, access, affordability, and timely care continue to remain critical challenges, especially in rural and underserved regions.
At Concern India Foundation, we work to bridge these gaps at the front lines.
- We provide ambulance support in remote areas and equip these ambulances with essential, life-saving tools.
- We run regular health camps in rural communities where early diagnosis is helping prevent illnesses from becoming life-threatening.
- We strengthen Primary Health Centres (PHCs) to build community trust, empower healthcare workers, and encourage more people to seek timely care.
In Igatpuri block, for instance, a newly rebuilt Primary Health Centre remained non-functional despite efforts by the Nashik Health Department — leaving surrounding villages without access and forcing healthcare workers to continue operating from sub-centres. We stepped in to strengthen the infrastructure through paver block installation, internal electrification, and the supply of critical medical equipment. Today, this centre positively impacts 14 villages with a combined population of approximately 19,623 people, and is equipped to handle a monthly footfall of over 1,200 patients.
This World Health Day, we invite corporations to partner with us through CSR initiatives that go the distance and enable healthcare at the last mile.
