Architecture + Interior Design

Our intention with this den was to create an immersive, mood-led living environment within a 20,000 sq. ft. home

We built a darker architectural shell with a recessed, softly lit ceiling and full-height walnut paneling to add depth without heaviness. Lighter fluted elements were introduced to balance and breathe.

We softened this with curved, low-profile furniture in rich materials like cognac leather — grounding the space while keeping it inviting.

Statement pieces and layered textures bring contrast, while the bar, media, and recreation zones are designed to flow as one continuous experience.

Lighting ties it all together shaping the mood from day to night.

This living space sits within a 20,000 sq. ft. home and our approach here was to build in a modern transitional style

The room is shaped by strong vertical lines,floor-to-ceiling wood paneling that adds height and rhythm.

Our intention was to balance this with a recessed ceiling, keeping the volume light and breathable.
We chose to break the warmth with a Calacatta marble feature wall.

The idea behind this was to introduce contrast that feels natural, its veining becoming the focal point while grounding the space.

The palette stays quiet - creams, taupes, and soft neutrals layered through velvet, chenille, and stone.

When designing the transition spaces in this home, we decided they should feel far more than just connecting passages.

The first portal was framed with intricately carved columns, setting the tone for the character that continues through the entire passage. A rhythmic series of columns line the corridor, bringing depth, symmetry, and a quiet sense of grandeur to the space.

The flooring was detailed with an inlay composition using Smoke Grey, Roman White, and Carrara marble, carefully designed to stay in sync with the architectural detailing throughout the corridor.
