ECELL VJTI is honored to host✨ our next powerhouse , a distinguished erudite in our guest lecture series of SNC'22 : Dr. Duvvuri Subbarao🤩 who is an Indian economist, Central Banker, and retired IAS officer. He was the 22nd Governor of Reserve Bank of India, served under Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh. After stepping down from RBI, he was a Distinguished Visiting Fellow first at the National University of Singapore and later at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr Subbarao is a 1972 batch Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer💫 of the Andhra Pradesh cadre. Dr Subbarao topped the Civil Services Examination in 1972. Sir completed his education from IIT Kanpur and IIT Kharagpur, graduating at the top of his class. He was also a Humphrey Fellow at MIT and later earned his PhD.
