Some weekends it’s two people. Some weekends the whole family lands up.
Behind the glass partition sits the mandir. The client wanted the flexibility to close it during meals and open it wide during festivities. But more than that, they wanted to feel its presence every day — the scent of incense drifting in, the light filtering through the jaali, the quiet energy of a personal prayer space sitting just behind them as they eat.
The glass made that possible. Open, it becomes part of the room. Closed, it holds its own.

In a room with many doors, the table and the light above it are the only things that stay still — and that’s where your eye goes every time you step in.

We kept the walls simple because the mandir was always going to be the heart of this space. Everything else stepped back.

Not every decision happens across a table.
Some conversations are better had over a cup of tea, in a room with no agenda on the wall and no position at the head of it.

A boardroom table makes you think formal. A sofa lets you speak your mind.
