A lot of my references never come from fashion.
They come from old tiles, carved doors, forgotten corners, and details most people walk past without noticing.
I’ll take a photo, save it, sketch it, and before I know it, it’s found its way into a print, an embroidery, or a collection.
This is what my camera roll usually looks like.
People often ask me what my favourite part of the process is.
It’s this.
The in-between stage where an idea is no longer a sketch, but not yet a finished piece.
The pinning. The adjusting. The stepping back and looking again.
Tiny decisions that nobody notices on their own, but together become the garment.
There is something incredibly satisfying about watching a piece slowly become what it was always meant to be.
The magic isn’t just in the final outfit, It’s in the making.
