𝗪𝗲 𝗼𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗮 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗿 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀.
𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗷𝗼𝗯𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗯𝗮𝗱 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿𝘀.

It has almost become an accepted explanation whenever employees resign.

But if we pause for a moment, another question naturally follows.
If managers matter so much to employees, then why don’t people actively look for organisations known for having great managers? 🤔

Perhaps the real issue goes beyond individual managers.
It often comes down to culture.

In organisations where culture is strong, core values are not just written on walls.
They are demonstrated in everyday decisions and behaviour. 💼

Leadership sets the tone, and managers grow within that environment.
Over time, culture shapes the way people lead teams. 🌱

Maybe the real conversation is not only about bad managers.
It is about building cultures where good leadership becomes the norm.

Which brings me back to this thought.
If people leave good jobs because of bad managers,
why don’t they seek out jobs that offer great managers? 💭
