Have We Become Numb to Child Labour?
Every child deserves a childhood, and opportunities—not long hours of work.
Yet, child labour continues to rob countless children of their education, safety, and future. Behind every child at work is a story of vulnerability, poverty, and missed opportunities.
At Purnata, we believe that every child belongs in a classroom, not a workplace. By supporting education, protection, and rehabilitation, we can help children reclaim their right to dream, learn, and thrive.
💙 Childhood is precious. Let’s protect it.

⚠️ Human trafficking does not always begin with violence or force.
Sometimes, it begins with attention, affection, and the promise of love.
Every human being longs to feel loved, seen, cared for, and accepted. Traffickers exploit these emotional needs through what is known as the “Loverboy” tactic.
In this method, traffickers pretend to be loving partners or trusted friends. They offer attention, gifts, emotional support, and promises of a better future — slowly building trust and emotional dependency.
Once the victim becomes emotionally attached, manipulation and control begin.
Victims may be:
• Isolated from family and friends
• Emotionally blackmailed
• Threatened or controlled
• Forced into exploitation
Women, girls, and vulnerable children are often specifically targeted. Social media has also become a powerful tool for grooming and fake relationships.
🚨 Real love never controls, exploits, threatens, or isolates.
Awareness is one of the strongest ways to prevent trafficking. Young people must be educated about healthy relationships, emotional manipulation, and online safety. Families and communities must create safe spaces where people feel heard, supported, and protected.
Together, we can help prevent trafficking and protect vulnerable lives. 🤝
