Dear Esteemed Alumni,

Warm greetings from your alma mater...

We write to you with a sincere and heartfelt request in these challenging times. The recent devastating floods in Maharashtra have severely impacted the lives of countless farmers and their livestock. Many animals are struggling without access to adequate nutrition, and farmers are finding it difficult to provide even the most basic livestock feed and concentrate.

BVCAA and Mumbai Veterinary college teams served in the past during hard times of natural calamities such as Killari and Bhuj earthquakes, Orrisa cyclone, draught affected parts of Sangli and Satara districts and flood affected parts of Kolhapur and Sangli districts with phenomenal efforts for animal well-being and social cause. In keeping with our enduring commitment to community service, Mumbai Veterinary College and Bombay Veterinary College Alumni Association together wishes to mobilize efforts to provide essential feed and rations, medicines, mineral mixtures to the affected animals from 30th September to 2nd October. The amount needed to achieve this task is approx. 1500-1600 Rupees per animal. However, the scale of the crisis is vast, and we cannot do it alone.

We humbly appeal to you, to extend your support in any way possible. Your financial contribution, no matter the size, will go a long way in helping these animals survive and in easing the burden on their caretakers during this difficult period.
