FAREWELL SIR.
Team Utopia Comm'unique'ations mourns the passing of our Mentor Shri Kamlesh Mota.
Kamleshsir was someone who truly believed in the power of the youth and loved their exuberance, he was a great mentor because he didn't wanna inspire the young but actually wanted to be young, feel new everyday...as a director he always said until an actor does not get under the skin of a character or a techie does not feel the pulse of the situation it's just not possible for theatre to happen. Striking the right chord of emotions take time, designing a scene takes time and most importantly it takes a lot of rehearsals.
A Master at stagecraft (lights and set design both) a fabulous actor himself and an extremely innovative theatre director, Kamleshsir gave us the courage to make Utopia.
Way ahead, the best thing our generation could do now is just keep making plays and innovate to the fullest. Keep theatre alive. I am sure he will love that and will have a grin on his face as he sits in the next dimension sipping on a cup of tea followed by his favorite navratana kimam maghai paan.
