Step into the world of Pandit Bhila Khairnar for an expressive/reflective Studio Visit - a rare opportunity to experience the space where ideas, memory, and material converge into art.
Born in 1968 and based in Mumbai, Khairnar brings nearly three decades of artistic practice shaped by formal training at L. S. Raheja School of Art and Y.K.M., Aurangabad. His evocative works have been presented in solo exhibitions at leading galleries such as Threshold Art Gallery, Jahangir Art Gallery, Volte Art Gallery, Gallery 7, Sans Tache, and Hacienda Art Gallery. His practice has also traveled internationally through exhibitions including collaborations with Amar Art Gallery, London.
Khairnar’s work has appeared in major institutional exhibitions at NGMA (Mumbai and New Delhi), Bharat Bhavan, Bhopal, CIMA Kolkata, and the Jahangir Nicholson Art Foundation, and at global platforms such as India Art Fair, Mumbai Art Fair, and Art Dubai. His works are held in distinguished public collections including the Ashmolean Museum, Kasturbhai Lalbhai Museum, NGMA, Lalit Kala Akademi, and Bharat Bhavan.

We’re delighted to introduce the participating artists of Re-think (Region) -
a thoughtfully curated art residency by You.Art, in collaboration with Energise Soul Retreat, and curated by Dot Line Space Art Foundation.
Set in Trimbakeshwar, Nashik, this residency brings together 10 senior artists to step away from outcome-driven production and enter a space of reflection, dialogue, and process-led exploration. Over five immersive days, each artist revisits ideas of region, memory, material, and lived experience - allowing their practice to unfold with quiet intensity and depth.
This reel introduces two of the ten artists whose practices will shape this collective journey.
- Neena Singh
- Smita Mandlik
Stay with us as we reveal the voices, stories, and sensibilities that make up this residency.
