शिमला मिर्च उगाने की जरूरत:

सूरज की रोशनी: आंशिक धूप/छाया - लगभग 3-4 घंटे सुबह/शाम की धूप कुछ दोपहर की छाया के साथ।
पानी: मध्यम- जब मिट्टी की ऊपरी इंच सूखी महसूस हो।
बुवाई का मौसम: ठंडी अवधि के दौरान शिमला मिर्च गर्मी और ठंढ दोनों ही कोमल होती है।

ध्यान:

शिमला मिर्च उगाने के लिए या तो इसके बीज सीधे मिट्टी में बोएं या इसके बीजों को घर के अंदर रोपने से पहले (लगभग 10-15 सेंटीमीटर लंबे पौधे) बाहर उगाएं। शिमला मिर्च की रोपाई से पहले खाद, खाद, कम्पोस्ट चाय या पंचगव्य का उपयोग करके मिट्टी में खाद डालें।

कीट:

Growing Capsicum needs:

Sunlight: partial sun/shade – around 3-4 hours of morning/evening sunlight with some afternoon shade.
Water: moderately- when the top-inch of the soil feels dry.
Sowing season: during cooler periods as Capsicum is both heat and frost tender.

Care:

For growing Capsicum either directly sow its seeds in the soil or grow its seeds indoors before transplanting the seedlings (about 10-15 cm tall plants) outdoors. Fertilize the soil using compost, manure, compost tea or Panchagavya before transplanting the Capsicum seedlings.

Pests:

Main pests that attack Capsicum are aphids and whiteflies. Treat them using organic pesticides like Neem Oil. In areas with higher humidity levels, good plant spacing is essential to ensure air flow and help minimise a number of potential mould problems.
