We have all heard of India Cements, official sponsors of Chennai Super kings - official. This story is about N Sankar. A little known town in Tamil Nadu - Kallidaikurichi has seen several eminent entrepreneurs over the years. N Sankar was one of these. Initially, India Cements was sold under the brand name of Sankar Cements. N Sankar was one of early entrepreneurs of South India who used modern management methods to expand his business beyond the Geographical Territories.

He left for his heavenly abode on 17th April, leaving behind $1 Billion worth conglomerate Sanmar Group in Tamil Nadu. Small Towns in India have given us many many Corporate leaders who shaped this nation.
