Day 6 ☺️ Embracing life with grace and vigor at 40-60 isn't just about experience; it's an art. 🌟 Those among us living with Type 1 Diabetes are not just thriving, they're setting new standards. They show us that with wisdom and courage, managing diabetes becomes part of life's rich tapestry. These role models inspire us, teaching that grace under pressure is the ultimate life skill. Their journeys are powerful stories of resilience, reminding us that every day is a gift to be lived fully. πŸƒ

🌟 Say Hello to our young kids living with Type 1 Diabetes 🌟

Today, we shine a light on these brave children, ages 5 to 10, who navigate life with a resilience that inspires us all. Together if we all ensure that the right diagnosis and detailed attention is provided for Diabetes Management to children, then they have the potential to not only achieve all their growth milestones but also have a life filled with laughter and joy. Let’s strive for Access to Good Care.

We invite you to be a part of this supportive network. Share this message, engage in conversations, and help us amplify the narrative that Type 1 Diabetes can affect anyone at any age, but together, we can ensure that it doesn't define anyone.

Every year, the World Diabetes Day (WDD) campaign focuses on a dedicated theme that runs for one or more years. Access to Diabetes Care is the theme for 2022. The theme is based on the fact that people with diabetes require ongoing support to manage their condition and avoid complications – with access to insulin, oral medicines, self-monitoring, self-management education, psychological support and access to a healthy diet and physical activity. πŸ™ŒπŸ»

For people with diabetes, awareness levels may be unique to their journey with diabetes β€” from experienced to novice. Since diabetes is a chronic condition with a direct impact on one’s health, there’s a crucial need to raise awareness about the prevalence of diabetes to educate people who may not understand the symptoms, risk factors, and treatment options.πŸ©ΈπŸ’‰

Today, Diabetes India Youth in Action team will be conducting a free blood sugar screening camp for young children and underprivileged families living in Hajipur village in collaboration with πŸ’™πŸŽ‰

Together, our efforts can make an impact in the lives of those at risk and those living with diabetes.πŸ’ͺ🏻🀍

GOOD NEWS πŸŽ‰ NAVYA BACK TO SCHOOL 😊

Together, we were able to overcome the severe social prejudice that exists around those who have Type 1 diabetes.

We are thrilled to announce that because to our combined efforts, Navya will soon be able to return to school. We strongly believe that any child who has diabetes must feel secure and protected at school and must not lose any of their education as a result of receiving a Type 1 diabetes diagnosis.

Education is a fundamental human right! And we must continue to work together to bring justice to the many additional "Navyas" who miss school due to their medical issues.

We will soon be launching our new project. Stay tuned for more updates!
