Delhi plans smart LED streetlight upgrade.
The Delhi government will replace nearly 96,000 old streetlights with smart LED systems before Diwali at a cost of ₹473 crore. The project aims to improve road visibility, reduce dark spots and enhance women’s safety through real-time monitoring and remote fault detection using a centralised control centre.
