When it comes to working out during periods there is no straight forward answer to this question, there is no YES OR NO to this.
If you want to know whether you should Workout or not, just listen to your body. No one can tell you better than yourself.
💮Having said this, one thing is for sure that working out during periods will not harm your body at all. In fact there is evidence that exercise during this time can be helpful in managing pain, discomfort and fatigue.
🔶if you feel that you don't have much discomfort and you're feeling normal - then you can definitely continue your regular workout. You can keep the intensity slightly lower than usual, if you want to.
🔶If you feel moderate pain and discomfort then you can go for light exercises like a walk or any other light activity that you truly enjoy.
🔶if you feel extreme pain, discomfort and fatigue then simply skip your workouts. Skipping your workouts for a couple of days isn't gonna make you unfit similar to the case that working out for one or two days do not make you fit.
✅So the bottom line is - just listen to your body when it comes to working out during periods.
💔Having said all this it's sad but true that most of the women in our country still find it very uncomfortable to talk about periods. Even many of the well educated women who consult or train with us, don't like to refer it directly as PERIODS. It's painful but true and can be understood because the problem lies in our society where we still STIGMATISE PERIODS and feel TABOO to discuss it.
💮"But dear ladies let me tell you that there is nothing to be ashamed about the natural and biological process on which the very existence of the human race depends. Instead BE PROUD OF IT. "

Every year, on 1 December, the world commemorates World AIDS Day. People around the world unite to show support for people living with and affected by HIV and to remember those who lost their lives to AIDS.
🔶COVID-19 has demonstrated that, during a pandemic, no one is safe until everyone is safe. Leaving people behind is not an option if we are to succeed.
🔶HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) is a virus that attacks cells that help the body fight infection, making a person more vulnerable to other infections and diseases. It is spread by contact with certain bodily fluids of a person with HIV, most commonly during unprotected s*x (s*x without a condom or HIV medicine to prevent or treat HIV), or through sharing injection drug equipment.
✅There is no cure but it is treatable antiretroviral therapy.
✅People with HIV can live long and healthy lives and prevent transmitting HIV to their s*xual partners. In addition, there are effective methods to prevent getting HIV through s*x or drug use, including pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) and post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP).
🌍In 2020, the world’s attention has been focused by the COVID-19 pandemic on health and how pandemics affect lives and livelihoods. COVID-19 is showing once again how health is interlinked with other critical issues, such as reducing inequality, human rights, gender equality, social protection and economic growth. With this in mind, this year the theme of World AIDS Day is “Global solidarity, shared responsibility”.
