Noida International Airport in Jewar, Uttar Pradesh, will start operations from June 15, officials said. The airport is expected to reduce pressure on Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport and improve air travel in the National Capital Region.
The airport has received key security approval, which allows a 45-day preparation period before starting services. Flight schedules and ticket bookings are still being finalised.

According to the latest project reports, the high-speed rail will feature two dedicated stops in the district.
- The first will be at Noida Sector 148. This location is a masterstroke for planning because it already serves as an interchange for the Noida-Greater Noida Metro.
- The second station will be built right at the Noida International Airport. Interestingly, this station is designed to be underground. It will link directly to the airport’s transportation center.
