The service road heading towards Ghaziabad near Noida Sector 62 will remain completely closed from April 9 to June 10. The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has shared this information on its official X account, stating that the service road is being closed due to construction work for the metro project.

DMRC has explained that work is underway to lay the foundation and erect two special steel spans for the metro near pier P386. This is the reason behind the decision to close the service road. According to metro officials, this construction work is extremely essential for further improving metro services. It is necessary to enhance facilities on the Noida-Ghaziabad corridor and ensure smooth movement of trains.

It may be noted that this work is part of the extension project for Metro Line-3. Under this extension, the metro line is being extended from Noida City Centre to Noida Electronic City. As part of this, a train reversal facility is being constructed so that trains can easily change direction. Once the work is completed, the road will be reopened.
