Geospatial World
An integral part of the geospatial ecosystem, Geospatial World will continue to work as a knowledge organization, advancing knowledge for sustainability.
At the GeoBuiz Summit 2026 Opening Address, Sanjay Kumar, CEO of Geospatial World, spoke about the evolution of GeoBuiz from buzz to business—and the journey of turning innovation into real-world impact.
He highlighted that the global geospatial market, now valued at $677B, has surpassed space as a direct market, while space continues to enable scale through Earth observation, GNSS, and connectivity. Together, these domains form the backbone of modern digital infrastructure.
He also spoke about the shift toward the autonomous age, where maps are no longer used only by humans—machines are consuming and creating them as well. Spatial computing and digital twins are expanding value chains, while governments increasingly recognize geospatial as a critical national asset for development, resilience, and security.
