The government has launched the Startup India Fund of Funds 2.0 (FoF 2.0) to mobilize capital for Deeptech, early-stage growth companies, and manufacturing startups. This initiative aims to address long-standing funding gaps and support the next generation of tech-driven innovation in India.
With a focus on complex problems, longer R&D cycles, and higher costs, FoF 2.0 will provide dedicated capital to deeptech startups and micro VCs, ensuring that India’s vibrant startup ecosystem continues to thrive.

🇮🇳 1,000 km. Indigenous technology. Under 2 years.

India's National Quantum Mission has achieved a landmark milestone — a 1,000-km quantum communication network, one of the longest quantum key distribution (QKD) deployments in the world.

The target was 2,000 km over eight years. Half that distance has been covered in under two years of the mission's launch.

What makes this even more significant: the technology behind it is homegrown — built by QNu Labs, a Bengaluru-based startup focused on quantum-safe cybersecurity solutions.

Adding to this achievement, QQNu Labs is also a winner of the Nasscom Emerge 50 Awards 2024 ‘League of 10’ — a testament to its consistent innovation and impact in deeptech

The mission has also expanded its startup tally from 8 to 17, with new ventures working across quantum biosensors, photon sensing, quantum positioning systems, and atomic memory: QNu Labs, Sense-XT, ORVISSEMI, QuBeats, Quantum AI Global, bloq, GDQ Labs, Quantum Biosciences, Bumble Bee Instruments, and SAS Qute Electronics.
