Recruiters use your Resume to judge how good a fit you are for their requirement. Over or under sharing in your Resume might hamper with your chances of getting selected. Make your CV the most unique and perfect reflection of your experience and potential with the help of these simple tips.
1. Include the most relevant keywords in your Resume. For e.g. if you’re a software developer, type in major languages used in your field work and also the techniques used. Also, include numbers or data analytics of your achievements accomplished in the past couple of years.
2. Mention only the relevant part of your career timeline and put the important things first.
3. Make your sentences short and crisp without interfering with the actual meaning. For e.g. Don’t write “Working for a start-up was a new experience and I tackled many challenges” instead write “Tackled many challenges while working for a start-up”
4. Choose proper spacing techniques. You don’t want to make your Resume look too clustered or too scattered.
5. Proof read your CV several times so as to not leave obvious spelling or grammatical mistakes.
