3 weeks of slowing down, observing, questioning…and slowly beginning to understand what truly happens inside a kiln.

In March, this space was filled with curious hands and even more curious minds. Measuring, mixing, testing, failing. Watching students go from not knowing where to begin, to confidently creating their own glaze recipes, is always the most beautiful transformation to witness.

But beyond the chemistry, there was so much more….shared meals, warm conversations, laughter between students and the joy of making something with intention. The kind of learning that doesn’t just stay in your notebook, but settles into your hands (or so i hope).

This course will always be about more than just glazes. It’s about understanding your material deeply enough to trust yourself with it.
