Our Story

During my service in the Armed Forces, I took part in a large number of Counter Terrorism Operations and had the opportunity to experience how terrorists are interrogated. This led to my interest in Psychology and I enrolled for a Masters in the subject.

During this period, I also went to the Asia Pacific Centre for Security Studies of the Department of Defence, United States and participated in a program - Comprehensive Security Responses to Terrorism. Here I had the chance to interact with individuals of about 34 countries of the world including Military, Police and Civilians. Personnel from the FBI were also part of the course. My understanding of human behaviour and how to influence further crystallised in my mind.

After taking voluntary retirement post 21 years in the Indian Army, I worked for an airline as a Vice President for about 2 years before forming Anchor NLP as I realised that the standards of NLP Training in India was sub standard and not aimed at empowering participants.

As Psychology itself was more theoretical, I was searching for a modality which would give results and found Neuro Linguistic Programming. After studying the work of various authors, and attending courses, and being certified by The Society of Neuro Linguistic Programming (the original body), I started Training.
